Auction

Typically held in late September or
early October on a Saturday evening as a fundraiser to retire the parish building debt. A
large number and variety of donated items are auctioned during both a silent and oral
auction. Items may range from gourmet dinners to vacation accommodations to quilts and art
objects. An admission fee is charged, with beverages and excellent hors d'oeuvres
provided. |

Fries

On the first five Fridays of Lent
beginning at 4:30 and serving until 7:00 p.m., parishioners prepare a delicious fish
dinner.... a variety of fish entrees, side dishes, and desserts are served to large,
appreciative crowds. |
Fun
Day

|
Always held on the second Sunday of
August from Noon till 4:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for the parish family to gather
with the entire community invited. An old-fashioned barbecue dinner is served. There are
children's games, quilt auction, cake walk, music and entertainment. Fun for the entire
family is guaranteed. |
Parish
Dance

|
Typically held in the fall. There is no
cost, but lots of good food, and the opportunity to dance to good music. The theme for the
Dance changes each year. Parish organizations sponsor this parish gathering. |
St.
Mike's on Spikes

|
A golf tournament held on a Wednesday in
July at the Royal Canadian Golf Course. This scramble event benefits the computer lab of
the parish school. This is an extremely popular event, and is usually sold out months
before the event. Reservations can be made by calling the Pro Shop at the Royal Canadian
