Purpose: This committee provides the side
dishes and drinks as well s the workers for a luncheon following funerals as
a parish demonstration of support and comfort to the grieving family.

Purpose:
The Social Commission organizes special events for the Parish when asked by
Father. The Parish will furnish organizations with basic supplies when
needed.

Gardening Group |
Purpose: This group cares for the landscaping around the
church, school, parish office and rectory.
Meeting: the second and forth Wednesday of each month at 10:00
a.m. on the parish grounds.

Boy Scouts

Girl Scouts

Purpose: Provide a place for girls
(Brownies, grades 1-3 and Juniors, grades 4-6) to meet and have fun, experience new
activities and make new friends. the girls will have the opportunity to earn badges;
learn social skills, Christian values and about their community through service projects
and field trips

Dinner for Eight
 |
Purpose: A round-robin dinner program
that provides the opportunity to meet others from the parish community. Both winter
(Jan.- Apr.) and summer (May - Aug.) sessions are held. During the four month
period, a couple (any two adults) will host a dinner for eight once and provide the main
course. In other months, the couple will supply wine and appetizers, salad and
rolls, or dessert, and share the meals in the homes of other participants.

Justice and Peace Group |
Purpose: JustFaith Ministries strives to provide faith
formation processes and resources that emphasize the Gospel Messsage of
peace and justice, the social teaching of the Church and the intersection of
spirituality and action.
